Qualifications

We are a registered centre for many awarding bodies and sector skills councils, including CACHE, NCFE, and Skills Active, and deliver qualifications in an array of subjects.

If you require career information, advice and guidance, we have trained personnel and experienced staff who can help you choose the right training for your job role or career aspiration. Our staff will also be able to assist you with information about cost of qualifications and access to funding availability and eligibility.

Qualification Details

Early Years Educator
We are delivering the new Early Years Educator qualifications at both levels 2 and 3 (enrollments from September 1st 2014). This qualification is ideally suited to anyone working with under 5s and also includes knowledge up to age 7s. It replaces the working with children and young people qualifications and there are additional entry requirements.

Playwork

We deliver Playwork qualifications at Level 2, 3 and 4. These qualifications are ideal for those working in After School Clubs, Holiday Playschemes and settings whose main focus is play with children 4- 16 years old. We have been a specialist in Playwork training for over 10 years.

Teaching Assistant Qualifications

We deliver the supporting teaching and learning qualifications at both levels 2 and 3. There are a range of specialist modules at level 3 which cover the variety of roles that may be undertaken in schools.

Youth Work

We deliver both the Level 2 and 3 qualifications, which have been recently redeveloped and are now very user friendly.

Customer Service and Business Administration

We deliver customer service and business administration qualifications at level 2 and 3, which are equally applicable across a range of business environments. We also deliver Business Administration Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management. However, we do specialise in business environments with a customer base largely made up of parents and carers, particularly Children’s Centres and large nurseries.

Award in Education and Training

This was previously the PTLLS qualification and is the first stage for anyone wishing to teach in the post 16 sector. We have a variety of delivery models adapted to suite learners but all involve face to face classroom sessions as well as the opportunity to teach a group.

Funding

We are able to access a range of funding streams for qualifications, including 24+ Loans, Apprenticeships and government funded workplace learning and bursaries it is vital that you contact the training team to assess which funding mechanism will be most cost effective for you.
