We provide mobile, outdoor play sessions in open spaces in both rural and urban communities. The sessions are open access and are for children and young people aged 5-15 years. Children and young people help to plan the sessions and choose the kind of activities that they would like.

Our play team provide a variety of equipment and the children are free to choose what they play with and how they play with it. Activities often include arts and crafts, junk modelling, den building, parachute games, ball games and cooking cover open fires.

Our playworkers hold a recognised playwork qualification, an enhanced DBS, a first aid qualification and have received training in safeguarding, inclusion and drug awareness.

Why do you need our Play Team?

Whether you require a one off session, support for a larger event or a series of sessions, our playworkers can work within your locality to deliver fantastic play sessions to help community cohesion and build relationships with the children and young people.

In addition our playworkers give the children a voice, build confidence and encourage a sense of ownership of their parks and open spaces which should in time help to reduce anti-social behaviour. It is also a great opportunity for children to get back to outdoors.
