Little Explorers Nursery encourages, promotes and develops new ways for children to get active! All children engage in the outdoor activities; They develop a sense of satisfaction and achievement, increase their stamina, become aware of the impact of physical activity on their bodies, talking about heart rates, breathing, muscle sensations and are then able to build some awareness to self-regulate – all through positive and imaginative play.
Also, our Play Rangers are out there in the community working with children, young people and their families to use those open green spaces that a freely available for all. Play Rangers enthuse and encourage children to live healthy active lifestyles and we help to embed these principles for their future.
Little Explorers & Play Rangers are fantastic examples of the work we do to improve the life quality and experiences of children, young people and their families.
We look forward to finding out if we have have been shortlisted.

Busy Summer Sessions benefits over 800 people!
30 September 2014
Our Youth Ranger and Community Engagement teams worked together in all of the children’s centres in East Lindsey to deliver Boredom Buster sessions.
The sessions provided a wide range of activities suitable for birth to 18 year olds, designed so whole families could attend the centre and enjoy time together. Both teams work as part of our contracts with Lincolnshire County Council to deliver services to families within children’s centres and outreach services to young people.
We also delivered 28 Play Ranger sessions in parks and green spaces within East Lindsey. These sessions are delivered within local communities and having been running for several years in these areas during the summer holidays. The sessions are run in partnership with Waterloo Housing.comments powered by Disqus
