Understanding the Developing Brain

14 February 2018

A training opportunity not to be missed! For anyone working with children and young people or parents and carers of children and young people.

You will get the best out of children and young people when you know how to work with their developing brain.

This session will help you understand how the brain is constructed from birth; how it is shaped by experience and the environment; and most importantly, how the adults who work and live with children and young people have an enormous impact on how they develop.

Essentially you will learn to maximise brain capacity of the children you live and work with, helping them to live well, learn well and to ‘be’ well.

Children’s Links is delighted to offer you an exciting opportunity to join Jo Stockdale from the Child Learning and Development Advisory Centre as she explains the way that every human interaction a child experiences effects their developing brain.
