Since 1993, Children’s Links has delivered Childcare Development and Support Services on behalf of a number of Local Authorities. We work with a wide range of partners in the voluntary and community sector, and local government, to deliver the Sure Start agenda within children’s services, including children’s centres and extended schools.
Our Childcare Development Service supports childcare provisions including pre-schools, nurseries, holiday clubs, out of school and breakfast clubs for the benefit of children and young people aged 0 to 19.
We can help with:

- Advice and guidance on EYFS
- Advice and guidance on Ofsted registration and inspections
- Improving your premises by giving advice and support to provide safe environments
- Supporting you to offer children a wide range of learning and play opportunties
- Child participation by helping you to develop meaningful processes that allow children's views to be taken into account in decisions which affect them
- Advice on healthy eating and physical activities
- Developing a quality service which is accessible to all children

- Advice on management structures to include committee support
- Guidance on employment law
- Financial forecasting
- Updates on current legislation
Our service has a friendly team of staff with each one dedicated to working in specific areas where Local Authorities have contracted with our service.
